Jennifer is a fourth generation Arizona native with strong roots in the community. She holds a Masters in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from Arizona State University. She previously served as Governance Chair on the board of directors at Arizona Helping Hands, and is an alumni for the American Express Leadership Academy at the ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation. Her passion has always been about connecting youth to the world that they live in through education. Her career has allowed her to teach preschool through college, and a wide variety of political, historic, and scientific fields, in both traditional classrooms and at a variety of nonprofit organizations. Since co-founding the Desert Seed Resource Center in 2021, she has completed an accounting certificate and is finding a new passion for operations. She is currently participating in Atlas 9, and has completed the Points of Light Service Enterprise Initiative. She brings an extensive knowledge of nonprofit administration, and a love of the Sonoran Desert.
